THE FIELD
No tourist version. No guide. Just access.
TREKARIUS documents movement through remote tribes, border towns, ferry crossings, mountain roads, and cities most people never see properly. The same harsh environments that shape our expeditions shape our gear. We build for the reality of the road, not the staging of a studio.
MURSI — ETHIOPIA
Three days off the grid in the Omo Valley. The dust here gets into everything—engines, lungs, zippers. The TREKARIUS 35L took a brutal beating in the back of a Land Cruiser over rutted dirt roads, shielding our camera gear from 40-degree heat and relentless grit. Real exploration doesn't have a welcome center, and your pack needs to survive the transit.
PEMBA — TANZANIA
Saltwater, thick humidity, and the chaotic scramble onto overloaded dhow ferries. Pemba isn't built for tourists. We dragged our packs across jagged coral rock and through sudden, torrential coastal downpours. The water-resistant shell didn't flinch. When the power cuts out and you're miles from a paved road, your gear is your only safety net.
PORT MORESBY — PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Navigating the crowded, unpredictable streets of POM requires keeping your head on a swivel. You need a pack that stays tight to your body, with security zippers that won't fail when you're moving fast through dense, unpredictable markets. Surviving the crushing heat and sudden chaotic shifts in the Pacific taught us exactly where to reinforce our load-bearing straps.
MANILA — PHILIPPINES
Total sensory overload. Squeezing into packed jeepneys and moving through the dense, concrete labyrinth of Asia's most relentless city. There's no room for bulky, over-engineered luggage here. The 35L's streamlined profile meant we never got hung up in the crowds, while the quick-access tactical pockets kept essentials ready so we could just keep moving.
SAN SALVADOR — EL SALVADOR
Street-level reality, far removed from the curated resort zones. We spent weeks navigating district borders where gear dependability is non-negotiable. Walking miles under the punishing Central American sun tested our back-panel airflow engineering to its absolute limits. No staged lifestyle shots here—just sweat, exhaust fumes, and a pack that holds up when the asphalt runs out.
CAPE TOWN — SOUTH AFRICA
From the jagged, wind-battered coastline to the intense, localized energy of the township roads. Cape Town demands aggressive versatility. One hour you're hauling gear up Table Mountain's rocky spine, the next you're navigating tightly packed minibuses. We built the 35L to transition between divided environments seamlessly, keeping a low profile without ever making you a soft target.
BUILT WHERE TRAVEL GETS REAL.
Most travel bags are reviewed in air-conditioned airports. Ours are built for and reviewed in the places those airports warn you about. Stop buying stage props.
